Today, I had the honor of being an author guest for a local book club that met for lunch at a cozy brewery in downtown Hickory, NC. There’s something special about gathering around good food, great conversation, and the shared love of books.
The questions were insightful, the discussion lively, and the fellowship genuine and fun. It’s always such a joy to be among people who love to read, who connect over stories, and who find joy in books.
As both an author and the owner of A Novel Twist Bookshop, moments like this remind me why I do what I do. I want to bring readers stories they can truly enjoy. Whether we’re meeting at a local brewery or chatting at the “Twister Trailer,” it’s all about connection: connection with stories and each other.
