If you’ve been following along on this journey of bringing A Novel Twist Mobile Bookshop to life, I thought it was time for a little update from behind the scenes. Spoiler: things are moving forward.
While the wheels (literally) aren’t here yet, the dream is very much underway.
Even without the trailer parked in my driveway, the bookshop is already growing. I’ve been gathering beautifully curated used books. You know the ones, those special copies that still have plenty of life and heart to offer. From much-loved mysteries to swoony romances, my shelves are slowly filling with stories worth sharing.
As a self-published author myself, supporting fellow indie authors is important to me. That’s why I’ve been reaching out to select writers whose work I believe in, and I already have signed copies on the way. I can’t wait to introduce you to some fresh voices and hidden gems you might not otherwise stumble across.
On top of the used books and the indie treasures, I’ll soon be stocking brand-new titles. Mystery lovers, romance readers, and everyone who enjoys getting lost in a good story… this shop is for you. My goal is to bring a well-rounded, thoughtfully curated selection to each community stop.
Now… About That Trailer
Here’s where things get fun.
The books are piling up. The boxes are stacking. My excitement is building.
But the trailer?
Well… it’s still making its way to me.
So right now, I feel a bit like a kid waiting for Santa. When it does arrive, that’s when everything gets real. Shelving, styling, planning routes, and officially rolling this dream into action.
Until then, I’m savoring the anticipation, because sometimes waiting is its own kind of magic.
